Icons

An icon is a sacred image which has its origins in its foretype, a Holy Face representing the centre and the essence of the Christian art. It serves as a way to know God, a way to communicate with Him, and it remains an integral part of life of any committed Christian.

Icon painting is an evidence of God’s incarnation confirming the fact that God became a human being in order to show His Love to human beings and help their souls to enter the Kingdom of God. Icon painting is also a kind of divine worship for us.

Our family icon painting workshop also contributes to sacred icons painting.
